The Women of St. Peter’s is a group organized to offer spiritual support and fellowship opportunities for all the women of the church and outreach to our community.

Easter Feast

Each year, parishioners provide an “Easter Feast” to families in need in our community.  During Lent, names of local families who have requested an Easter Meal at McKinney Community Lifeline are made available to parishioners.  While the ECW provides hams, vegetables and  cranberry sauce, church families provide the rest of the food for an Easter meal as well as Easter Baskets and special surprises.  On the day before Easter, these wonderful gifts are delivered, both by the “fostering” families and by the youth group and other volunteers.  We have had an incredible outpouring of food and workers.  For more information, contact Jamie St.Clair at djstclair@attbi.com.

Holiday Bazaar

Each year, the ECW holds our annual Holiday Bazaar.  It features handmade craft items, a silent auction of “theme” gift baskets, a quilt raffle and a bake sale of homemade goodies.  We also have community crafters who rent booths and sell wonderful crafts.  The money raised at the bazaar funds our outreach programs and provides programs for the women of the church.  For more information, contact Elsie Kadera at gskadera@attbi.com.

Angel Tree

Each year during Advent, the ECW provides an Angel Tree for St.Peter’s covered with angels representing children in our community who need Christmas gifts.  Last year, St. Peter’s families provided gifts for 150 “angels”.  For more information, contact Pat Alguire and Sarah Hester.
