Living The Good News - 9 a.m.

All classes at 9 a.m. will use the Bible In Life curriculum - The Episcopal / Anglican Edition. It is a comprehensive teaching of scripture that focuses on classic Anglican themes as well as the liturgical year

Our Special Needs class is open to children of all ages with a need that makes it difficult to be in a "regular classroom". Parents will fill out an assessment and then wewill meet with the child and family and assess their needs and if we can meet their needs. If we can't meet the need immediately, but find that they are appropriate for the class, we will do whatever possible to get in place what that child needs to attend Christian Ed. The class follows a regular schedule with playtime and a Bible lesson. It runs year around as opposed to just during the school year. Consistency for the children is a top priority for the class.

 

Children's Chapel - 10:30 a.m.

Open to children between the ages of 3 through kindergaten, this ministry is designed to give the children a meaningful experience during the Liturgy of the Word. Children will recess during the processional hymn and return during the peace.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd  -  10:30 a.m.

Ages 3 through 3rd grade at 10:30 a.m. will participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. This method follows the liturgical calendar and allows children to become immersed in the narrative of the Christian faith and the rituals that mark our common life in a highly interactive environment.

Bible In Life  -  10:30 a.m.

Fourth and fifth grades will use the Bible In Life curriculum. See 9 a.m. for a description.
