ADULT EDUCATION SERIES
2003 - 2004

Proverbs 24:3-4 "By wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established; by knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasure.

Adult education at St. Peter's falls into three categories. The Bible is always foremost. To that end we offer a bible study on Sunday mornings. Second is spirituality. To that end we offer a Wednesday evening program that has a great deal of variety. Third is an inquirers class. To that end we will be offering this in the spring on Wednesday evenings.

YEAR ROUND OFFERINGS

SUNDAY MORNING
BIBLE DISCUSSION GROUP
9:00 AM Weekly in the Parish Hall

The first four Sundays will be Opening the Bible.

The following Sundays will be a lively discussion of the passages read in church that day with an emphasis on the gospel. The gospel passages are the words that Christ himself used to express his spiritual experience and invite us into the same. Come meet the Man and help others on their journey by sharing your own experiences.
During Advent the emphasis will be on expectation of His coming.
During Lent the emphasis will be on preparation for His death.

WEDNESDAY DISCUSSION GROUP
6:30 PM Weekly, in the Parish Hall

Wednesdays will be a series of programs:
9/11 to 10/26 Native American Cultures and Spirituality. Led by Gene Autrey
11/2 to 1/11 The Church Seasons - Led by Tony Hewitt
1/18 to 4/26 Stories from the New Testament.

During the year additional discussions will be presented such as preparation for dying and Christian marriage.
