A native of Missouri, Helen has served professionally in the Dallas area for over twenty years. Helen attended the University of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Baptist University, where she received her Bachelor of Music. She received her Master of Music from Westminster Choir College, in Princeton, New Jersey, with concentrations in Sacred Music, Organ and Choral Conducting. She has also done graduate studies in Theology.
Helen began studying piano at age five, began performing professionally at age twelve, and assumed her first Organist/Choirmaster position at age fifteen. She has served on several church staffs in Oklahoma, New Jersey and the Dallas area, as well as various committees at the diocesan and national levels, and worked with several community musical groups. She joined the staff of St. Peter's in 1999.
